The Red Hot Chili Peppers announced today that they would be having a fan club presale for the newly unveiled LA Forum show on this coming Wednesday May 31. They also announced that to get the tickets from them, you are going to have to prove you bought them. The RCHP fan club will indeed no longer ship tickets to buyers, but set them aside to be picked up the night of the show only.
Here is the text of the message from the Chili Peppers:
...Fan Club members: We are changing the way fan club presale tickets are delivered. Beginning with this presale (ie. from May 31st onwards), Red Hot Chili Fan Club members will be required to pick up their tickets from a special fan club will-call window. Tickets will only be released to members who can show an ID AND the credit card that matches their ticket purchase information...
This will likely mean higher quality tickets for those that live locally as out of state brokers will be eliminated from the mix. Good luck to all.
