Roger Waters Dark Side of the Moon Presales
Roger Waters will play 19 dates throughout the country in September and October including at least three in New York (two at MSG and one at Jones Beach). He is sponsoring presales through American Express. As always the password is AMEX or the 800 number on the back of your card, but you have to pay with an AMEX card.
The first set of each show will have tunes from throughout Waters' career with Pink Floyd and as a solo artist. The second set will feature Waters and his band playing the entire Dark Side of the Moon album.

Tom Petty Presale Tickets Take 2
Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers will attempt round 2 of their presale ticketing process today for Madison Square Garden, among other venues. Yesterday, someone forgot to pass the unique passcodes on to Ticketmaster (or perhaps Ticketmaster just forgot to validate them). Hundreds of fans were left confused at their computers wondering why they had just spent $30 to get access to the tickets.
Some time around noon eastern, the problem was fixed and without warning the tickets went on sale. People who did not have three hours to dedicate to the process lost out as the presale tickets sold out almost immediately.
Today's presale should be less complicated. It is a generic password: the word is companion. Tickets will likely not be AS good, but should still be some of the better ones in the house. Good luck.

Petty's people have decided to start a paid fan club giving members access to two tickets in exchange for their $30 ante to get into the club. The Fan Club is called the Highway Companions Club and will provide 1500 of the best seats to its members before passing out seats to the "site members" who simply get the free passwords off their site.

Tom Petty 30th Anniversary Tour
