The Police Fan Club Presale

As we mentioned yesterday, The Police will be returning to North America for a few more shows after wrapping up their European tour. There was a Best Buy presale today, but there will be a fan club presale starting Wednesday morning.

If you're a member of the Police fan club already, just enter the unique password you received upon becoming a member. If you're not yet a member, you can still get presale tickets. To start, just go to this page to access all the presales, and when you buy tickets you'll have the option of purchasing a membership for an additional $100 when you check out. Joining the fan club at the time of your presale ticket purchase allows you to see where your tickets will be located, so you can decide if the membership price is worth it. Good luck.

The Police Best Buy Presale

The Police have announced a few more North American concerts to take place after their European tour which is already underway. Presale tickets will be available on Tuesday morning to Best Buy Reward Zone program members. If you're a member as of 5/17/07 you're eligible to get tickets early for the shows in New York, Washington DC, San Antonio, Atlanta, and Charlotte.

The Police Presale

Legendary band The Police are still on their 30 year reunion tour, and there will be another presale on Wednesday morning for the show at Centre Bell Centre in Montreal. This presale is for fanclub members only, but if you aren't a member yet you can purchase your tickets and membership in a bundle. This means that when you access the presale right here, you can either enter your unique fanclub password, or you can purchase the bundle which will charge you $120 CDN (about $115 American) in addition to the price of the presale tickets, and you'll automatically become a member of The Police Fanclub. The Police Free Presale Password

The Police will be playing Wachovia Center in Philadelphia on November 14th as part of their reunion tour. You can get presale tickets for this show on Thursday morning at 10 using the password CYBERCLUB.

The Police Citizens Bank Ball Park Presale Password

The Police will play Citizens Bank Ball park on July 19th and you can get your presale tickets early. Just click here at 10 a.m. Thursday and use the password ROXANNE.

The Police VIP Packages

The Police are putting VIP Packages on sale for all of their North American shows. We will give you the details of what we can find here.

The general trend is that you pay more money, but get tickets in the better sections of the venue. You are typically not allowed to pick exactly where your seats will be nor will you necessarily know before you purchase them. So there is some level of unsettledness, but typically most of the locations are good. In addition to tickets, depending on the city, other perks could include:

VIP entrance
Exclusive bar access
Reserved Parking
Tour Gift

VIP Platinum Package: $426/person
Tickets: Floor AA or BB Rows 17-21 or 114, 115, 117, 125, 127 Rows 1-13

VIP Gold Package: $291/person
Tickets: 104 or 110 Rows 1-9

The Police at Giants Stadium Details

The Police will play Giants Stadium on Sunday August 5. Tickets will go on sale to the general public Monday morning at 9 a.m. It has been announced that there will be no Backstage Access free presale for this concert. That means that unless a new free presale is announced, the only way to access these tickets will be through the Best Buy presale, fan club presale, fan club bundle presale or public sale. Please click the "the police" label below and read our previous post on Police presales to get details on how to access these presales.

Or, if you hurry, you can take advantage of an opportunity to get the VIP treatment by purchasing tickets through the official tour VIP package. This package includes preferred seating, reserved parking, hospitality services and an unnamed tour gift. The package starts at $322 per person. The Police Hot Seat Packages

Hot Seat Packages for The Police will go on sale Tuesday for the first time. Fans willing to pay a premium price will have the opportunity to purchase premium tickets for the Fenway Park or Madison Square Garden shows tomorrow. This Hot Seat Package sale was incorrectly listed as going on sale Monday 9/18, but they will actually go on sale starting at 10 a.m. Tuesday through Ticketmaster.

The Police Best Buy Presales - Ok, to disappoint everyone right off the bat (don't shoot the messenger - we'd give everyone access if we could), if you are not already a RewardZone member at Best Buy (you would know if you were and would probably carry a Reward Zone card in your wallet) it's too late for you to access this presale. The presale is only available to people who were members before February 1, 2007. It is likely that the passwords will be unique, so that means there is no way around this requirement. You can try the password REWARD or REWARDZONE on Tuesday as they have been passwords for Best Buy presales for other artists in the past. But Ticket Horde has been doing this for a while, and this has every indication that they have changed their system and are now using unique passwords.

The Police Fan Club Presales - Good news - Bad news: First the good: Anyone can access this presale. Now the bad: It's going to cost you $100. If you join the fan club for $100, you will get access to tickets. The good news is that even if you join now, you can still get access. Go nuts!

The Police Fan Club Bundle Presales - Apparently, The Police and Ticketmaster have come up with yet another way to ensure more money coming in. They no longer allow you to look at tickets before you buy them when doing a joint ticket and fan club membership purchase on the first fan club presale day. They are trying to get people to join blindly first. We still think there will be plenty of tickets for anyone who joins today, but there is not guarantee. Boo on The Police and Ticketmaster for doing this...you're already getting an extra $100 for nothing.


The Police Free Presales - These are the good passwords - well sort of. The passwords are free but the ticket selection won't be as good and there is no guarantee there will be a free presale in every city. If it makes you feel any better, our professional opinion is that there probably will be a free presale password for almost every city, so if you just want the cheapest tickets possible and want to avoid paying the $100, you are probably safe waiting for the chance at a free presale.
