What is a Fan Club Bundle Presale?

We get a lot of questions about this, so we would like to create this page as a central place to refer people who need help with Fan Club Presales and Fan Club Bundle Presales.

For any fan club that ultimately uses Ticketmaster to see their fan club tickets, you will typically have four options for purchasing tickets.

1. Fan Club Presale
2. Fan Club Bundle
3. Public On-sale
4. Other free presales

Each one of these has its own purpose and strategy. We will explain them here.

FAN CLUB PRESALE: This presale is open to fan club members who have a paid subscription and is intended to reward those fans who are dedicated enough to be active fans. Most fan clubs cost between $20 and $35 to join, though some super groups (Rolling Stones) have charged as much as $100. Paid members will get a unique code that might look something like this: RXL23NY3 and can only be used once. So, if you are looking for one of these, you really have to pay. They are not just readily available like free presale passwords are. But there ARE more options.

FAN CLUB BUNDLE PRESALE: This presale is the same as the Fan Club presale in that you have to pay the fan club membership fee to access it. The difference is that you join when you purchase tickets. The advantage to using this over the regular Fan Club presale is that if you don't like your tickets, you don't have to join the fan club.

PUBLIC ON-SALE: The tickets for the public on-sale are generally not as good as they are for the presales, but you don't have to join the fan club. If you are a price sensitive fan, trying during the public on-sale might be a good solution for you.

OTHER FREE ON-SALES: Many shows that have a fan club presale will also have more free presales later in the same week. Keep in mind that the ticket selection may not be as good, but you won't have to pay to get a password. You can just get it free from Ticket Horde.

OUR RECOMMENDATION FOR POWER USERS: If the fan club presale and fan club bundle presale both happen at the same time, use the fan club bundle. You get to see your ticket location before you buy tickets and you don't have to waste time entering a presale code, so you will be faster on Ticketmaster. When deciding whether or not you want to join the fan club before purchasing tickets, keep in mind that sometimes the Bundle presale will start a couple of hours or even a full day after the fan club presale so the ticket selection might not be as good.

Everyone has different needs so we hope this summary helps you make the choice that is right for you. Good luck!
