Kansas Jayhawks Season Tickets On Sale Now

Kansas Athletics has announced that there is a limited number of 2007-08 men's basketball season tickets left following the recently concluded faculty/staff sale. The cost for each season ticket is $990.

They require membership in the Williams Educational Fund to purchase men's basketball season tickets. OR for non-WEF members, a $100 order charge will be added to your order for your membership. This is in addition to the regular order charge of $50.

USC will put all individual games on sale Sunday Night/Monday morning for the upcoming NCAA season. Tickets will go on sale at Midnight tonight for any wishing to buy. Yankees Ticket Licensee Postseason Presale

As we enter the home stretch for the 2007 American League Eastern Division Championship, the New York Yankees have begun preparations for potential postseason games which may be played at Yankee Stadium.

The Ticket Licensee Postseason Pre-On-Sale is available to all Partial Season Ticket Licensees, with Ticket Accounts with a Seniority Date of August 1, 1999 and later (specifically C through I Plans and the 20-Game Flex Plan, whose current plans do not provide any opportunity to purchase postseason tickets), and provides such Ticket Licensees with the opportunity to purchase a license for individual game tickets, online only, before the scheduled public on-sale.

The Presale starts on Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at 10:00 AM. All eligible Ticket Licensees with a presale code will have the opportunity, limited to 2 tickets per Round, 6 Tickets in total, per account, to purchase tickets for potential Division Series, American League Championship Series and World Series games to be played at Yankee Stadium.

The presale password appears to be a combination of your account number and your ticketmaster password - a method Ticketmaster has not used in the past to our knowledge. Personally, we think this is a major account scurity risk and discourage the use of users secret account passwords from use in publicly displayed passwords. That aside, don't forget to get your tickets tomorrow.

Led Zeppelin Reunion

Led Zeppelin has announced plans to reunite on November 26th in London to headline a show that will honor the memory of Atlantic Records' Ahmet Ertegun. The show will also feature around 60 other performers who were influenced and nurtured by the late label executive.

Of course, the draw of the show will be reunion of the iconic Led Zeppelin, who will perform with surviving members Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, John-Paul Jones, and also Jason Bonham, son of deceased drummer John Bonham.

Tickets will be available through a ballot system. Those interested in purchasing tickets (for around $250) can register here, from which random names will be drawn. There will be a household limit of 2 tickets for those lucky enough to be selected.

White Stripes Cancel US Shows

The White Stripes have bowed out of plans to tour the US in September and October at shows mostly in the West, including Hawaii and Alaska. On their website the band claims acute anxiety preventing travel has sidelined drummer Meg White, and it hasn't been revealed if the shows will be rescheduled. Fans can return tickets to the ticket seller for a refund.

As yet, the European tour, set to begin after the completion of the US tour is on as scheduled. The White Stripes had already hit several states in the Eastern US and territories in Canada they'd never performed in before. The band was touring behind their summer release, Icky Thump.

Red Sox Postseason Tickets
