Ticket on-sale information for the Floyd Mayweather Oscar de le Hoya fight on May 5 has been announced. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on January 27 at 10 a.m. through all Ticketmaster outlets.
We do not have any word on whether or not there will be a presale, but stayed tuned as we will post updates as we get them.
We do know there are not a whole lot of tickets left. Golden Boy Promotions claims that all but 3,000 of the available tickets for the MGM Grand bout have already been claimed by sponsors and the fighters two camps.
There will be a two ticket limit for the two lowest price levels and a six ticket limit for the higher price tiers which go up to $2,000 face value.

Had great hopes for the SeatSmart thing.. Great idea! Except - they seem rather limited in events.. Just plugged in several events ( Goo Goo Dolls, Spring Training tickets for various teams, Jonny Lang...) Dolls have 21 dates currently on sale on ticketmaster, but only three shows showed up on SeatSmart...
Anyone?.....
I think they were just a sports ticket site at first. The concerts are pretty sparse - they might have just not finished yet. I'll see if I can get someone from that site to verify.

Leaf is correct - the concert and theater sections of the site, in addition to most of the sporting events, are being worked on as we speak. Because we deal with so many different web sites and so many events, there is a lot of data that needs to be touched by human hands. It's a monumental task but we are not far from pushing out a lot more events. Please stay tuned.
