The Denver Nuggets are coming of a year in which they were Western Conference Northwest Division Champions, which is reason for hope. But let's be honest. They finished the year at 6 games over .500 (44.38) and were less than impressive in losing in 5 games to the Los Angeles Clippers in the first round of the playoffs. The signing of Carmelo Anthony was supposed to be a springboard to the future, but the Nuggets just haven't seemed to be a solid thread amongst other Western Conference powerhouses.
