We have been getting a lot of inquiries about postseason presale passwords for the Yankees, White Sox, Mets and a bunch of other teams. (Too many to list this season!). Most teams are currently conducting playoff ticket sales for season ticket and plan holders.
The Mets, for example, are running a playoff ticket presale right now for Mezz Reserve seats and Upper Reserve seats for anyone who purchased a six pack of tickets for the 2006 season.
The Cardinals, and many other teams, are currently accepting applications for a random drawing to get the opportunity to purchase postseason presale tickets. Many other teams are using this system as well. The drawing will usually not get you tickets for more than one or two games, but if you get a couple of friends to sign up, it is usually a pretty reliable source of getting tickets for at least one playoff game.
As for Postseason Presale Passwords, not every team will use the traditional presale system on Ticketmaster. The Yankees have in the past and we expect them to this year as well, but nothing has been announced about it yet.
